Despite a disappointing 4-8 record to end the 2010 season, the Owls still had talented players on the field. The proof was evident at the 2011 NFL Combine where FAU had three players invited to represent the school in front of dozens of NFL personnel. Quarterback Jeff Van Camp, receiver Lester Jean, and tight end Rob Housler all showed off their skills at the event in Indianapolis in February. Some of those players included cornerback Tavious Polo, linebacker Michael Lockley, and defensive tackle Dino Cox.
